Abstract Forms and more pancakes (Patreon)

I did a little digital study last night in photo shop. Just trying to create a composition and figure out the best way to organize the values.

Basically thinking about the painting as if it were an abstract black and white painting. If I can make that look good, a lot of other things will fall in place.

The underpainting is always the hardest part for me. so this step will hopefully save me a lot of pain.

I also made another stack of pancakes. Attempted to get some syrup with liquid Sculpey and ink.
