Alright, there's so much to discuss about this movie. Firstly, I experienced some frustrating issues with the Cineplex stream – it cut out multiple times during this epic film. I had to cut and play to maintain the flow for the watch-along, so I unblurred the box to ensure synchronization.

Secondly, I've been struggling to find a timer that doesn't drift. I recently purchased a plugin, but it didn't work as expected. For now, I might stick to blurred boxes until I can find a reliable solution. I apologize to those who enjoy the timer; I'll keep working on resolving this issue.

Lastly, regarding my ramble at the end of the movie, please take it with a grain of salt. I realize I should have taken a moment to gather my thoughts, but that was a raw reaction – the initial feelings that surfaced. I'm sorry if it wasn't as eloquent or concise as it could have been. I feel like all the physiological tolls they were experiencing I was also experiencing. What a crazy thing to able to portray through film!

I loved this film, and in fact, it's ranked 28th on the AFI list. I thought the movie's sound design and cinematography were unforgettable. I particularly enjoyed Duval, and my apologies for saying "Hooper" instead of "Hopper." I haven't seen him in a film since "Speed" when I was a kid (that I can remember) But he was incredible. Marlon Brando was absolutely amazing.

What and Epic Film! So happy to have finally sat down and watched this!

Thanks for being here with me!!!!! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!!

I agree with you about the acting/role of Dennis Hopper in this.

I rewatched your reaction last night. The movie does have a dark uncertainty with tension. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning." As you acknowledged, Robert Duvall was nominated for Oscar for Best Actor in a supporting role. "The Horror... The Horro.r" Kurtz saw a purity in that. When watching the movie last night, I saw Emilio Estevez in the face of Martin Sheen.
