This movie was a staple of my childhood. Love it. I wanted that Trans-Am. I wanted Sally Field to be my girlfriend. Her and Burt Reynolds fell in love during this movie and you can see it. I don’t think you can compare Burt with anyone today. He truly was an original. Paul Williams who plays Little Enos is someone I am proud to call a friend. We corresponded online a few years ago and it developed into a mutual friendship. He’s a great guy and an immensely talented singer and songwriter. There are two sequels to this. The second part is good, not great. The third one was awful.
