It was about two years back in the LV Discord when I shared a few private commissions I had made for me.  The group seemed to like it, so I continued to dig through old hard drives and forgotten email accounts to show older commissioned body swap and possession art I had commissioned in the past.  Some was finished, some was not, but a lot of it was not seen yet.

Some pieces I commissioned in the past are considered legendary, apparently, in the community, like the Young Justice swap or the JaidenKaiba Chun Li swap.  Point is, I've always been a patron of the arts with body swap art.  One patron even said that I most likely was 'responsible for 80% of the body swap art out there' at the time.

Not sure how true that is, but it has a nice ring to it.  Now, I know of at least two other patreons out there that do nothing but commissioned body swap shorts with licensed characters, and to them I say "more power to you guys".  I see no shame in that business model at all, but it's not one meant for Team LV.

I do commission body swap art with licensed characters; it's not a secret.  I share my 'vault' of commissioned pieces with the patrons, and I hope they enjoy them. What I won't do is make a vote incentive for them.  If I feel like I'm in a Wonder Woman mood, I commission a Wonder Woman piece.  If I feel like seeing Spider-Gwen, I contact a few artists and find one that's available.

That is to say these commissions are on my own schedule, and I usually fund them with my own funds.  I try to keep LV and these private commissions separate, except, of course, when I add them to my vault.  I mainly do this because I want to avoid some swaps feel repetitive.  This is ironic, since i do have a few commissions that are the same or nearly the same script by different artists.

That's a story in and of itself, but mainly to do with timing and casting wide nets looking for artists, and some artists moving very fast while others move slower.

What I do have is a Super Partners tier, which allows patrons to know what I'm planning to commission ahead of time, as well as see future LV and Turb pages before everyone else.  Super Partners get to see scripts, layouts, and more, before the commissions are even finished.  They can even make suggestions and comment on them.

If you guys want to learn more about what sort of pieces I've commissioned, please discuss!

I honestly feel like your decision to not turn the personal commissions into a polled or designed by comity project is part of what preserves the quality, as well as not insisting that they HAVE to drop one by a specific dealine. They're well thought out, lengthy, and in character, and I appreciates that.
