Braydon and Sarah had worked together at the same company back in the day when the Great Shift hit; the fact that they ended up swapping bodies was no surprise. But as time when on, they got new jobs and drifted apart -- as co-workers tend to do.

It was not until several years later until they saw each other again, completely by chance. When Sarah saw her former body, she couldn’t believe the way Braydon was dressed, in a tight leather tube dress, or the way he was acting, twerking and flirting with whoever. She decided to confront him.

He greeted her with a smile, “Hey! How’s it going!?”

“What the hell are you doing?” Sarah asked, “Don’t you have a wife at home?”

“HAD a wife,” He corrected, “We tried to make it work, but she wasn’t exactly interested in being a lesbian just so we could stay together.”

“But, like, what are you wearing!?”

“I have a good body -- you had a good body! I figured I could flaunt it! I don’t like being single, Sarah; I really don’t.”

She wanted to criticize him, but she couldn’t. Despite the big smile, he seemed genuinely sad. And no matter how weird she felt seeing her body like that, she knew it wasn’t her body anymore.
