Ultimately, both Pete and Erika decided there wasn’t much they could be about their situation except embrace it. After six months, Pete was really resigned to the fact that he was now female, and the woman in the relationship. He ended up enjoying that much more than he ever would have expected.

For starters, Erika’s face on his body was actually a fairly attractive man. The fact that they had each other’s hormones allowed her to grow a beard, which she always neatly trimmed. And she still could make him laugh at feel good about himself.

Which was good, because there were times when he’d often compare himself to what Erika used to look like. Sure, he had her body, but he still had his own face. And, yes, the hormones he now had meant his facial hair would no longer grow, and he certainly tried to dress and act feminine. But the creeping thought in his head was that people could still tell he had the face of a man. Erika would assure him otherwise. She’d tell him he was a beautiful woman; the most beautiful, in fact! Pete knew he needed that reassurance. He didn’t think it was true, but he certainly liked hearing it.
