Diego had always known his boss was a jerk, but the Great Shift was really laying bare just how big of a jerk the guy truly was. For starters, his boss was one of the lucky few who hadn’t shifted while it seemed most of the other truck drivers had swapped bodies with women, Diego included. The odds of all that seemed unbelievably small, yet that’s how it played out.

Diego had heard from others about how his boss was always calling the drivers into the office to harass or intimidate them. Diego had just tried to keep his head down, and so far it worked.

But after getting a load hooked up one day when he was all set to head out, Diego heard a shout. His boss demanded he come to the office, but Diego stood in his truck’s cab and refused. His boos got red in the face, saying Diego was unfit for the job and soon demanded sexual favors or else he’d be fired.

In this moment, part of Deigo wished he had stood up for his fellow workers earlier, but he had also prepared for this as well. He knew he was in clear shot of the security  camera; his phone was recording audio. He could take his boss to court for this. Not only was it sexual harassment; it violated so many post-Shift laws that had passed as well. Diego realized he was in for a big pay day.
