In the movies and on television, swapping bodies seems easy. But when it happened at Derek’s office for real, being in a different body proved to be quite a challenge. Even things like walking proved to be difficult as people had to adjust for the length of their new legs. Reaching and grabbing things were hard for similar reasons.

And, of course, for people who swapped bodies of the opposite gender, like Derek, the whole incident was especially trying. It wasn’t just dealing with long hair or breasts or clothes. It was about being able to control some very basic functions.
