It had been several days since the Great Shift, and people were growing impatient. No one expected things to go back to normal, but people did have needs. Yet none of the stores were opening.

Hank could tell he wasn’t the first person resorting to looting. When he arrived at the discount store, the glass was shattered and the doors were already pried open.

He grabbed a few essential items and shoved them in a bag. Then he grabbed some clothes that he thought would fit his new body and put them in the bag as well. He didn’t want to steal, but he was desperate at this point. After all, he was sure a wedding dress wasn’t meant to be worn for five days straight. He was horribly uncomfortable.
