Hmmm given how hair works in 3D software, this is not really the greatest of ideas, unless I create / find an asset to replace hair strands. Hair in 3D is created in a way where it doesn't work for hair exploration, since it doesn't contain strands of hair. Essentially, hair is created out of sheets, with a hair texture applied to them. That's why it also looks kind of weird in games usually, where the textures and shaders can mess up, making the sheets more obvious. Unfortunately, I'd have to recommend against this as a suggestion.
