Status update - What's going on? (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone,
It's been a long time since I've done one of these! I've been thinking of doing some changes over the last couple of months, and on top of that, there are some projects I would like to talk about. With all of that in mind, I decided it's time to give everyone an update with everything going on, and what I want to do moving forward.
What's going on with Hotel Tiin-inn?
As many of you may have noticed, it's been quite a while since I last talked about my next comic, Tiin-inn. There's a couple of reasons for this, but most of all, there are some things I want to try out with it.
For starters, I think there is potential for a very wide storyline for this story, and this initially got me excited to create a whole comic series under the same name. I wanted to make episodic stories involving multiple guests in this comic series, but as my script progressed, I found that there is a whole lot more I want to do with this.
That is why I decided that I want to make a serious attempt at turning this game into an RPG maker based video game. One that is less so focused on combat, but will be heavily focused on experiencing giantess related events. I would also like to have this game be story driven, and following the general outlines I had set for Hotel Tiin-inn. Although nothing has been concretely made for the game as of yet, I'd love to work on this as a side project alongside my regular artwork, and hopefully create a GTS game everyone enjoys playing.
When I'll be working on the game, you can expect me to write status updates with WIP screenshots for artwork created for the game.
Then what about comics?
I've always got ideas for stories! and that is not any different right now. I'd love to continue writing comics for people to enjoy, and release. However, as you may expect, I cannot possibly do all of this at the same time, and that's where my next change comes in.
Another change?
Yes. See, I've been noticing that especially over the last months, my patreon polls have been getting the same results on a monthly basis. Although I don't mind doing either vore or insertion, at some point, doing the same thing over and over does tend to get a little bit stale, and I've been thinking of how I can change this up a little, whilst also giving some of my models who haven't been getting a lot of attention a shot at shining as well. That's why I want to start experimenting with a different set-up for my polls, and see how people enjoy these.
Then how are these polls going to look?
For this first month, I'd like to give people an opportunity to decide for me what I'm going to work on. I'd like to take on one major project monthly, and give people the opportunity to decide what project that would be. So starting this month, People will be able to vote on what I'll be focusing my attention on for that month; Will it be the video game? will it be the next upcoming comic? Or will it be a smaller, but still (hopefully) interesting project for this month? Examples for such smaller projects would for example be: mini comics of a certain theme, with a specific character, or a short animation of a certain theme, with a specific character. If you have an idea for one of these shorter comics, don't hesitate to let me know in the comments of the current month's poll, I'd be happy to take on ideas from everyone, and if I like your idea, it can be added to the next month's poll. If you'd like to, I'd be happy to give a shout out for the idea as well upon release.
What about exclusive extra frames?
I would like to continue making single frame pieces as I've been doing all this time, and for those single frame pieces, I will continue to make extra frames. This will not change, and will remain as is. The only difference will be that there'll be less, since I'll be taking on a bigger project monthly, but with mini comics you will continue to get all frames separately in a 4k resolution and textless, and you will continue to receive an upscaled version of animations as you have been.
In the case of work on the video game, you will receive exclusive artwork that will be used in the game, and once the game is in a presentable enough state, you will receive early access to play through parts as they're finished.
In the case of major comic work, I'm aiming the final comic to be done in a time frame of approximately 2 months, and the comic will then be exclusively available to patrons as they always have been, or available for purchase to the general public.
Commissions
As you may know, I also have commissions open most of the time, and especially with the director tier also being available, this is not going to change. I will try hard to finish these commissions at the start of the month however, and have enough time left for the projects as named above. If you are interested in a commission, do not hesitate to message me on patreon, or on any other service I'm available on; everyone with the insole tier or higher gets a $5 discount on their commission, so if you have something you'd like to see made, don't hesitate to write me! ^^
For now, that's how I'm envisioning the changes for my patreon at the moment. I'd like to hear what you guys think. Are you excited for such changes, or would you rather see me sticking to certain things as they were? Let me know in the comments, everything is always discussable!
Thank you all so much for the support you've been giving me, I truly, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate each and every single one of you! <3
Love,
Caroline
