A video showing several ways to do an effect would be helpful. It may be too much work for a single video though.. You mentioned trying several things out on this to balance performance and fidelity. Its something im negotiating on a project. Im having to use different quality versions of the same effect depending on what is in frame and how far away it is. LOD but with more factors. An example in your last post is using cards instead of something using volume. Anyway, its an idea. You do fantastic work and it helps my momentum - thanks!

Thanks, will think about it, right now am looking for more efficient ways to make effects because most of the time it's not experience that limits us it'd hardware
