Blaidd's journey through the Lands Between is reaching its apex, but then, so is Blaidd's mass. Will he be able to claim the Elden Ring? Will he be able to bench press it? Check out next week!

**************

"Come on, you gangly-limbed bastard! Throw another star at me and see what it does!" Blaidd snarled. He was locked in deadly combat, a battle worthy of his strength, with Astel, a starspawn abomination that looked like a gigantic, abominable cross between a spider and a dragon. It spewed meteors and pieces of the great, featureless void, and it was only through strength of will, and the power of the runes coursing through his veins, that Blaidd had survived this far- but where this twisted creation had magics that no one in the Lands Between could fathom, Blaidd had strength enough to match Godfrey, the First Elden Lord, at this point.

His body, already towering above most, left him feeling like a giant reborn. His legs were thick and hard as oak trunks, thighs rippling as Blaidd withstood another blow, a meteorite exploding nearby. He had shed most of his armor, not just for better movement with his swollen musculature, but also he had not found a single smith able to make armor large enough to encase his immense torso- his back alone was like a castle wall, swells of muscle packed densely against his swollen lats hard as stone and pushed out wide to make his great wolf fur cloak look narrow in comparison. Round, beastly biceps surged, triceps like anvils tensed as he held his greatsword aloft. He let out a bestial roar, the wolf-headed warrior powered by adrenaline and uncommonly vast strength. The sword came smashing down on Astel's great eye, and the void creature let out an unnatural shriek as it squirmed.

Already, it was trying to escape into the strange patches of night sky adorning its lair, but Blaidd was ready. Dropping his sword even as it remained lodged in the creature's eye, Blaidd reached his strong arms around what he thought was Astel's neck and squeezed- his biceps surged, his chest billowed out. His sprawling shoulders rolled, and the tendons in his bullneck corded thickly as he squeezed with all his might to hold the creature down. More shrieks came, until like a fire dying, it petered out- and with a great crash, Astel's gigantic body hit the floor, and was at last still. Blaidd let go with relief, breathing deeply as his beefy pecs fluttered, hitting his chin. The monstrous looking warrior collected his greatsword, and rested his broad back against the cave wall. This creature, that could summon stars and the night sky, had not only been an obstacle to his path to the Erdtree, it was also a threat to Ranni. He could not let it live, and no matter how big he got, he wouldn't forget the purpose of his quest. But now, the way to the Erdtree was open. He glanced back at the slowly disintegrating body of Astel, and Blaidd smirked- a small treasure trove of golden runes glimmered in the cave's gloom.

I’m too distracted by the physique to notice, but is his fangs getting sharper?
