For our April goodies, our runner-ups were Mercenary from Grimoire of Zero and Kumatetsu from The Boy and the Beast! Conner decided to splash some color on Kumatetsu, as a special treat. Thanks again for all your support, guys!

“So, Mercenary, are you pleased?” Zero hummed, tracing a finger over the swell of the hulking tiger’s mountainous chest.

The beastfallen warrior glanced up at the witch; it was hard to see her at this angle, him sprawled across the tall grass, his pecs now large enough to block out the sun. “This is not what we agreed on.”

“Well, I don’t have the grimoire yet, so you don’t get to be human,” Zero quipped. “This is just… an improvement, in the interregnum.”

“Hmph.” Mercenary shifted his prodigious weight; he had always been large, but now, he was nothing short of titanic. The beastfallen, who resembled a white tiger, had been at the mercy of the witch Zero’s magic for a while now, but never in such a substantial way. His arms alone were packed with enough muscle to outweigh his companions, triceps billowing out like storm clouds as he rested in the grass. His clothes were stretched taut over his mammoth frame, his heavy pecs brushing against his chin and shoulders sprawling out like a mountain range. Zero was now drumming her fingers on his brick-sized abs, and the tiger’s tail swished feverishly; if she went much further down, she would hit his belt, already strained against his thick obliques, hips and trunk-sized legs.

The two lay in the grass for a moment, still resting from their travels. “You still haven’t said if you’re pleased or not. I insist you tell me,” Zero said suddenly, hiding her coy smile.

Mercenary scoffed, tensing his abs as Zero reached for them again. “It is… acceptable.”

Zero clicked her tongue. “What? Well, perhaps I can try it again, if this isn’t enough to satisfy you.”

Mercenary smiled, as only a cat could. “That would be acceptable, too.”

“Keep the rice bowls comin’, kid!” Kumatetsu shouted. “I’ve still got some room left!” The bear took his heavy fist, and thumped a belly the size of a boulder.

Having to take care of a human child was working out better for the bear than he expected, especially when he found out Ren knew how to cook! The human had learned that bears hibernated in the winter, and assumed Kumatetsu was the same; now, he was doing all he could to help his new mentor prepare for it. Kumatetsu was still working on the excuse he would have to tell when winter came and he wasn’t going to be asleep, but for now, there was another course on its way.

“Ah, you’re a natural Ren, this is great!” the bear smiled wide, already digging into another dish. He had grown immense, his body dominated by his soft, billowing gut. It spilled out in front of him, serving as a better table than anything else in his home. The rice bowl rested on the continental shelf of his belly, jiggling softly as he leaned forward to reach it. One thick hand rested on his belly as his chopsticks moved swiftly to sate the bear’s appetite, his chipmunk cheeks wobbling with each bite. It remained to be seen if he could still walk; his blubbery legs were smothered under his belly, and right now, that wasn’t the bear’s concern.

“Do you think you’ll need dessert?” Ren asked.

“Oh! Oh yeah, definitely. It’s uh, totally necessary. Trust me, you’re doing me a huge favor.”
