Nuka's power and strength are roaring to life, and he's starting to realize he might be too big for the Outlands... Enjoy!

**************

The Outlands did not have the protection the Pridelands had; far-away King Simba was able to keep his bountiful lands safe, but the Outland pride had to deal with scraps. Hyena packs loved encroaching on their territory, still out of misplaced revenge for Scar's actions, and other predators besides. Raids were common— or rather, they had been common. Then, Nuka took over the Watch. Finally, the other Outlanders were starting to turn their heads in his direction, and it wasn't hard to guess why— that little trinket currently wedged in the cleft of his chest was doing its job well.

It felt that with every swing of his arms or strike he made with his spear, the muscles in his body surged and bulged out just a little further. His body, already impressively built after the amulet's first burst of magic, had inflated into a beast of a lion— his arms were thicker than most other beasts' torsos, with bulging biceps large as his head and slab-like triceps. His puffed up chest snagged the amulet between his bloated pecs, and his sprawling plateau of a back felt strong enough to move mountains. He had never felt so good, so powerful— he sent invaders and scavengers sprawling with one powerful strike of his spear, or sent them flying with a kick of his trunk-thick legs. But soon the raiders learned better than trying to cross the Outlands' border, and soon, Nuka's Watch became dull and left him restless.

For the first time in his life, Nuka began looking beyond the Outlands— there were other challenges out there, other ways to test and build his strength. The Outland Pride was safe, so finally, Nuka could say he had done his duty. He would let his brother play politics; he had an entire sprawling savannah to explore, and perhaps one day soon, conquer.
