I'm not gonna lie, we get a little weird in this one. But what else can you do when you're dealing with a slime woman?? Like I mentioned previously, this story will deal with slime and the other side of its role in expansion. I know it's a little out there but hopefully I can make a few converts and everyone finds something they enjoy within its pages.

Regarding the cover art, after I announced our artist falling ill, ANinnyMoose graciously stepped up and offered to take care of the cover for this story. He was a real lifesaver and took a lot of our regular artist's mind. He did an amazing job with the art as well and was a real trooper with all my nitpicking. Show him some love on twitter, or, if you didn't know, he also has a patreon!

I wish I had more of an update to give on our artist, but she's still in much the same condition. There were a few days where she was coughing up blood and the hospital is treating several problems with her lungs, heart, and liver. She wants me to tell everyone thank you for their kind words, wishes, and support. It all really helps to keep her spirits up.

I don't think she has any idea when she'll be able to return home at this time. Unfortunately I think she caught covid while waiting in line in a giant crowd for the first shot of the vaccine, so covid doubling up with the effects of moderna completely nuked her system.

I couldn't have been more satisfied, what a wonderful follow-up from Sugar High! I joined back when you wrote Monster Blood and it along with Night Job have been my absolute favorite stories! I am very sorry to hear that about your artist, and that is a terribly tragic way to contract it, the frustration must be immense. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

I am so sorry to hear about the artist! My prayers continue to go out to her!

Very strange story, yet it ticked pretty much all my boxes!

Was a wonderfully messy story. Loved it. Again, heart goes out to the artist. Does sound like she got hit by a double-whammy of symptoms. Worst ones I've heard so far from all of this. Really no need to rush getting home when it's your heart and lungs we are talking about. All the best!

That New Shoe Smell

This was definitely among your more unusual stories, but I certainly enjoyed it! It was a good followup to Sugar High and builds off the established lore. Thank you for the update on The Artist's condition. I really hope she gets better soon. Please continue to keep us informed.
