Another Update from The Chaos Zone (Patreon)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop in and say hi :) Welcome to my new studio!! I got my keys and moved in last week, so it unfortunately doesn't look like the photo above anymore, it looks like this:

But that's ok! The light is really beautiful and it's gonna become an incredible creative space. Taking the leap on a place like this was making a commitment to invest in myself. I am an artist! This is a space dedicated to my creativity, which is important. 

Speaking of which, I got a bank account for the business!

I won't bore you with the technical details, but to make a long story short: when I started Wasted Talent back in the 2000s I wasn't trying to have "a business". I just wanted to put jpgs on the internet. So while I always did everything legally, it wasn't set up optimally for what I was trying to do. Now I am doubling down on bringing as much creativity into my life as possible, and that meant setting up a better financial foundation to sustain the work. It took a LOT more work than I was expecting, and I'm thrilled that it's done!

TenTen got adopted in the nick of time, just two weeks before the move:

I'm glad she didn't have to suffer this chaos but of course I miss her already. 

And I also finally got my weird work-from-home hutch set up:

I'm still fussing with it, but it's fun. 

So yeah, it was a very hectic couple of weeks and then at the end of it I immediately got a head cold! Woo! So now I'm forced to rest for a minute before I tackle getting this place into a more functional state of habitability.
