Okay hello Patrons it is Saturday. I'm here under the Granville Street Bridge 'cause I'm going to Granville Island! Granville Island is kind of a nice touristy location where you can find a lot of nice gifts. Today my mission is to find some gifts for my co-workers on behalf of the company, so... we put together a nice little bundle of gifts for everyone every year and I volunteered to take care of that. 

So let's see what we can find!

Otherwise I've been doing pretty well getting caught up... sort of?? Yesterday I calcuated that I slept for 16 hours. Because I've been pushing so hard getting book stuff done in time for the end of the year deadline with everything else going on has been really tough. So on Thursday I ended up going to Rogue One and I ended up falling asleep in the movie :(( Over and over again :((( I think I remembered most of it? But then as I was watching people tweeting about their reactions to the film and I was like "I don't actually.... remember as much of this movie as I thought I did, oh no!" So, I thought that was a pretty good signal that I was exhausted and so I took the step to just sleep a LOT. And I feel a lot better now, but yeah I have some Christmas Stuff to take care of, some Book Stuff to take care of, and tonight's the company holiday party! So, let's see what we can find!

[Tree] I've actually never seen this before... now they have a Tree in the middle of Robson Street. And under this clamshell is skating! (Oh you can see people skating... weird!)

[Mural] I really like this... how the city will actually sponsor artists to put up art in vulnerable locations that prevents more... vandalistic(?) graffiti. But it has created some interesting opportunities, some really beautiful stuff. 

[Pond] Holy crap... I have literally never seen people skate on this pond before... wow!

[Kid's Market] I thought I might look first for fidgety desk toys at the Kid's Market. Let's see what we can find. I love that kids have their own little door to this place. ... Fake vomit... OR IS IT?? Toy: this might do. It's called Tangle, the fun twisty thing and it says "it makes you happy". What more do you want?? 

Okay, success~! Next I need to find (lots of kids here) I need to find some cards, some bags, some candy and something for my Mother and Father in law. Let's see...

[Pet Store] I almost forgot, I need something for Steve! (the corgi). I got Steve some Bacon Bunnies... how can you go wrong? And a little fetch toy. Steeeeve!
