Finished page 15/16 of the Career Zine, almost wrapped up now :) Maybe it's a function of how our work culture is set up, but I rarely hear about "who you work with matters a lot" and "it's ok to take a job with less stress" being offered as advice in "serious" career publications. I think these two things are the most important things that have defined my career so far!

2023-06-23 21:50:38 The most important. I've typically spent a long time at least companies, (13 & 8 years, with a bit of consulting) and am going on 2 in my most recent. Changed industries every time. But always a decent culture and a really good immediate colleagues. Current org is actively focused on nurturing culture and I think it is working pretty well.
