Sadly, both our fathers have gone through this... Jessica's dad was "laid off" from a plant he had worked at for 27 years. We're really sorry to hear about this! :( Even though these are sad things you're drawing and writing about, they're still powerful, and your blue tones work so well for them (and I love how crisp everything is despite that predominating color scheme). --Neal

Thanks so much Neal! Thankfully this was years and years ago, and everything has been more or less sorted out since then. But yes, it's a difficult transition to navigate, even in the best of circumstances :(
