Bonus Comic: Anxiety is dumb (Patreon)

So the most requested thing in my quarterly survey was "extra comics" or, "more WT than 1x/week". Honestly the hardest part about fulfilling such a request is the extra writing required! I don't always have good ideas.

But the drawing, of course... is also a limitation. Interested in what you guys might think of this simplified approach :>


This comic is a classic "anxiety is dumb and I hate it" kinda comic.

I'd enjoy seeing more bonus comics like this! Even without the full colour they'll still be fun. They wouldn't need to be on a consistent schedule either, just whenever you have an idea and the time to do one. Also yes, anxiety is dumb =(

For me, the charm of your comic is its authenticity. The above approach is great. Re: more than 1x a week... I'm mixed on that personally. If something comic-worthy happens that you want to write about, sure, but I'm not super gung-ho on creating a situation where you have to force content (beyond the once a week you already decided for yourself).

Hi, Jam. I supported your Patreon just for the regular comics you draw, not vlogging and all that other stuff. If you draw more comics I won't complain, though.

I like this style and how real /true to life the situation is. Don't force them on a schedule, but if you have an idea that makes sense to do in this style instead of a full-color comic, I'd love to see those when it feels right to you. (This style actually reminds me of Maus!)
