Food Zine - keep it simple (Patreon)

As I pull together the Food Zine, I wanted to have little titles and icons for the edges of the zine covers. 

I hemmed and hawed for quite awhile over what I wanted these icons to be, but in the end I decided it doesn't make sense to reinvent the wheel. I just wanted them to be clear and easy to recognize! :)

I'm trying to improve my "stylized" lettering (not that these are particularly stylized) and what I've learned so far is that the easiest way is to just write the words over and over again (adding flourish and cleaning up with every pass) until you're happy with them! I also drew a few guidelines to keep the sizing consistent. 

I'm excited to see how they look on the bright cardstock :)
