Shenzhen Fast - thumbs done! (Patreon)

I just wanted to post a progress update on this item, to let you know it's still moving forward. I'm reorganizing my habits a bit to make sure writing gets done. It's really hard to move with what little energy I have around my day job without a plan, so I've started to schedule dedicated times JUST for planning/writing. It's really been working so far! 

I'm hoping to fit this into a 20 page zine, so my first step was the image above - just vaguely writing down what I wanted each spread to feature. Then I moved into "next level" thumbs, below:

I won't post all of these because they're barely legible, but hopefully it gives you an idea. I'm really excited about this zine! I decided that instead of trying to make anything chronological about the experience (because we visited factories in a somewhat random order based on schedule juggling), I would follow the development of a hypothetical part! Like a comic book version of "how it's made". 

Next step is to flesh out these pages a bit more into pencils and then get at it!
