Unvlog! 20170604 (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Crunch time at work again, I was working both days this weekend and I am b e a t, so I hope you will forgive this abbreviated weekly update. 

This week I started posting thumbnails from Lost Omens! Thanks so much to everyone who helped to give that a warm reception, it means a lot to me. I'll be posting pdf-batch updates like the first one once a week, and I'm looking forward to it! I think it will be fun and a good learning experience. 

I also put up a poll for the HOURLY COMICS I'm going to do this year. Mission and Nature Adventure are TIED! I might just do two anyway, since I passed on the official Hourly Comics day this year. Now I just need to plan those two out. For the mission I was thinking of riding my bike all the way out to this wood shop in Coquitlam to get something for a project. OR I could go hunting for supplies to put together this little moss zine in the post photo. Not sure! Still brainstorming. The Nature Adventure could be anything!!!! 

I just finished reading a bunch of The Last Man  for the next episode of the Tradewaiters  -- recording next week.  At a high level... I liked it! I think? It's a very dynamic comic, I would recommend it if you really enjoy martial arts comics or comics with dynamic fight scenes. I would say that it's "style over substance".  Although it did have some interesting twists that I really appreciated... if you want to know more you can join our book club by following along with the podcast. We've developed a really big list of books read by now, there's really something for everyone. Otherwise... if I can get some energy together outside work, my goal is still more of the Beyond inks. Beyond  just hit its last stretch goal and it wraps next week!!! So exciting!! Sfé just posted their final version of page 1 and it looks soooooooo good .  Really exciting to see this one come together. It's been tough though. Work has been very good but very demanding of late - a lot of hours and energy!!!
