These comments are for ep 1 and 2 It’s possible this is an alternate universe version of the story and Kingpin never went to prison. That would mean that the series is cannon but not applicable to THIS universe. So there may be differences between series and here. Only time will tell. Kingpin may have learned sign language but either doesn’t want to use it due to possible mistakes because he is not fluent or more likely, he doesn’t want others to know he knows. He did this with speaking Mandarin with Madam Goa in the series. Plus, he used ASL right before Echo shot him. Did Kingpin lose an eye? Looks like she shot him thru the eye. They are not portraying Maya as sympathetic. She is kind of an asshole to those that care about her. Yes Alaqua Cox, Maya, was born deaf. Part of her right leg was also amputated. Even with this she performs her own stunts. She also gave birth to a son last October. When her Grandpa was trying to sell the vase to his customers he was pretending to do a Native American chant when in reality he is just saying "buy the damn thing". I didn't catch that until someone told me. lol (see post in no spoiler marvel on discord)
