I'm not a fan of camping either, I don't know if I always dislike camping episodes, but I definitely dislike camping, for a lot of reasons but mainly insects, especially spiders, I can't do spiders, just no to spiders. I liked that Valenti showed up at the camping trip for Kyle, but then when he saw Max and Isabel he immediately went back into work mode. He's obsessed with them. Which I guess I kind of understand, based on everything that's been said so far, it seems like he and basically the whole town, ridiculed his dad and considered him to be a crazy drunk making stuff up about aliens. Now that he thinks aliens might be real, he wants to find out for sure to figure out if/prove his dad wasn't crazy. But even though I understand, he needs to be there for his son and be less obsessed with Max, Isabel and Michael, he doesn't know their aliens for sure, he might just be stalking teenagers for no reason. Also, side note, Max and Isabel just do a great job of not looking suspicious, by just standing and staring at the Sheriff in silence, it just really doesn't look suspicious at all, when they do that, whenever he's around.
