Yeah, this was pretty early on in Lucy Liu's career, before she started to get starring roles. What I really liked about the episode was that she got to show off her martial arts skills. The show can be a bit ridiculous with the fight choreography, because basically most of the actors don't know how to fight. It was great seeing Lucy showing them how it's done. About Hercules selling the slave trader, he was just giving him a taste of his own medicine. Plus he needed the money that he lost that his mom needed when he bought Lucy. Plus it was a bit of comedy at the end of the show, which is normal.
