I like him working at the buy more again, its the perfect cover job and hes genuinely good at it. I do think you should give the buy more a chance. It does allow for some funny situations. I just hope you become a bit more openminded about it. Yes i prefer the main storyline but the buymore is just fun antics. I actually see people on the subreddit always praise the buymore stuff. Some stories are boring but theres some genuinely fun stories with it as well. I also love how it gives them a chance to let the characters grow and change, without the buy more stuff morgan wouldnt have become alot better since season 1. It really does benefit the show in the long run even if you dont see it right away. I dont see it as regressing, its just a cover job while he is progressing at his real job as a spy. Plus theres already too much stuff at the buymore connected to castle lol I love chucks new abilities. The intersect can basically do anything he needs to do. It really makes the show so much more interesting and allows for different dynamics. Like now chuck might need to save sarah and casey instead of the other way around. This is a big change to the formula and im interested to see what you think of it. Am i too annoying? If i am i can cut it down alot. Its hard for me to tell if im being annoying and i dont like to annoy people. I feel like i comment too much and i dont want to be a burden.

I'm not going to lie I was kind of irritated with Chuck's decision in this episode, I was like, all he wanted in the first 2 seasons was to be with Sarah and not be a spy and now he chose being a spy over Sarah, kind of annoying. I like that he chose to be a spy and wants that now, I think that's great, I just don't love the Sarah part, especially since I really don't like will they or won't they stories, especially when it takes forever to get couples together, usually I end up not caring if the couple ends up together, sometimes I end up not even wanting them to be together. I don't feel that way in this case because I think Chuck and Sarah have a lot of chemistry but I was a little annoyed. I found Emmett to be incredibly annoying, I know some people still like him because they love Tony Hale, but I found him irritating. However, I was still shocked when they killed him, they killed a Buy More employee I was not expecting them to get that dark with this show. I didn't think it was great when Chuck went back to Buy More, I was disappointed for him, because I thought, why can't he get away from this place, he's quit more than once but he always ends up back there, I'm also a little disappointed for Morgan that he also ended up back there and that Anna apparently took off with a prep chef. But I get it they have lot's of characters in the Buy More it would be hard to figure out ways to get them involved all the time, plus castle's kind of part of Buy More, so I guess it's the easiest way to keep them around.

I completely understand sarahs point. Sarah doesnt want chuck to be a spy, she doesnt want him to kill people and become a different person. She fell in love with him bc he was normal and she doesnt want the spy life to change him like it doesnt everybody else. She clearly still loves chuck but she just wants better for him and shes frustrated.

Episodes 1 and 2 aired together as a 2-hour Season Premiere.

2023-04-10 19:44:53 I love this episode, but it's also a "two steps forward, one step backward" episode. It turns things back to a kind of status quo, but things are still very different. Chuck has these new abilities and his decision to not go with Sarah is a selfless one (one that I would not have managed to make). This episode also shows a darker side to the show with Emmett being shot in cold blood. An awesome and somehow deserved moment, even though the man obviously didn't actually deserve to die. The music was, as always, fantastic. And I truly love it when Chuck shows his more badass side. Confident Chuck is best Chuck, even if it doesn't always last for that long.

I mean, I know he was annoying, but that's the point of the character? I found him hilarious, but I also think it was a good time for him to be written off the show. This line always cracks me up, though: Sarah: Ever since you went to Prague, I have worked with the best spies in the world and you know what? Chuck: They're on their way here to save us??
