Yeah, I think the jury was wrong too. But just like you were saying there were things they were saying that were incorrect by today's standards, there was unfortunately a lot of looking the other way when it came to discrimination back then. If anything, this is a reminder of how far we've come in society. BTW, the actor playing the trans character was Anthony Anderson. I'm surprised you didn't recognize him, because he is a pretty big name now. He's also a really good guy. He and my cousin worked on a show together and I've gotten to meet/know him. It's been quite awhile since I've seen him but if/when I do, I'll definitely give him props for being on this show and let him know he got robbed in this case! LOL

It was supposedly in early development ...The new series would hypothetically follow a young black woman who according to fan rumour would be a daughter of Renée ...Cause... I'm guessing Renée would be the only option according to the Ally fanverse? ...Anyhoo ...It wouldn't be done by David E. Kelley.. The creator of Ally McBeatles ....He said he has no desire to go back to doing things he's already done and thinks IF a new "Ally" show is made that it should be made by a woman ......Considering the kind of stuff he came up with which we've seen so far...
