From the looks of it there was like a thematic plan for season 7 and 8. In season 7 they'd have been stuck in the past primarily and during season 8 they'd have been stuck in future, as Booster Gold did say they'd be imprisoned in the future he's from. Would've probably been cool to see but alas it wasn't meant to be. Goodbye Legends of Tomorrow. It was a wild ride.

I actually think this was a fitting ending to the series if you think about it the right way. At first thought it seems like a big cliffhanger but we can also look at it like the legends will always be in some kind of trouble no matter what and that makes me feel better about this ending. I actually like this booster gold, maybe its the actor that plays him bc he was amazing on scrubs (hopefully you react to more of it) and he brings alot of fun with his performance. I hope this isnt a spoiler but the showrunner for the Flash said that if season 9 had a full season and not just 13 episodes they would have made an episode to wrap up legends but with only 13 episodes they dont have time to do it. Which sucks but i guess its understandable. I really hope this show gets a movie one day bc i can see this show becoming a cult classic and being nostalgic since its so different and unique and wacky.

You were talking over the dialogue just before the end credits but Booster Gold did in fact tell them that they were going to the future. Kind of sad, because they never got to do that really in the show before and you were even complaining about that. Now, it seemed like that was going to happen and they got cancelled. Good job CW!

James

Next season could have been so good. Maybe even one of the best since we would get to explore the future more.

The plan was if they got renewed, Booster would be a main character in that season

2023-03-30 04:33:50 i have a lot of mixed thoughts on Legends s7, because I loved it while it was airing, I thought it was fresh, new, and it shook up the formula. but then when it got cancelled, I had a really hard time making myself rewatch one of my favorite shows. and then you got to Legends s7 for your watch, and I decided I would rewatch along with you. I haven't regretted that choice but with hindsight and knowing it got cancelled makes this season so bitter for me because while I love the story they told, there's part of me that wants to yell at them that they won't get a chance to end on their own terms and that they should have planned it. When Legends and Batwoman ended, I dropped out of the Arrowverse and CW shows as a whole, seeing the CW treat these two shows I loved that horribly made me not want to continue watching Arrowverse stuff. Too much of the arrow verse is tied into my getting into comics so like, it's very bittersweet to me. I'm also very mad that the CW kept fucking Riverdale alive for two more seasons and gave them proper notice of "hey you get one last season" and did the same thing with the Flash which hasn't been good since s2 (i stopped watching circa s5 and only came back to it for crossover stuff mostly bc the Flash felt like such a chore to watch.), similar deal to Supergirl, I fell off there with the evil Lena arc. I don't think I'll ever want to watch Superman & Lois, that show just tastes bitter to me with some of it's choices. So thank you Legends and Batwoman for being the two Arrowverse shows that kept me watching week after week. and thank you to Sara Lance for showing me that queer people could exist and be awesome. i miss you so much.
