Nell was being really judgmental this episode. News flash, many men see prostitutes, even good looking guys, nice guys and guys that could otherwise get sex if they wanted to. There's nothing wrong with it, unless of course you are otherwise married or in a relationship. Her whole speech about hurting their would be future kids was like WTF. I understand that women tend to have a certain stigma about guys doing that and it usually that has to do with catching diseases and what not. But this whole moral high ground she had about it hurting her knowing he did that, albeit way before they met and having to tell her kids was ridiculous and I'm glad that in the end she got over it. The escort service, on the other hand is a different thing. There are these types of businesses where you literally pay for someone to "escort" you, whether it's to a dinner, a party, or somewhere that you would want to bring a date but that's all you are paying for. Any sex that is involved is between both consenting parties and not part of the fee. Now, let's say she said ok, we can have sex if you pay me this much extra, that would be a different story. That would be prostitution. What happened in this case was not. I don't think that Ally rejected Louis because he was homeless, or even that he was ill. It was because he lied to her. First he was homeless, then he wasn't and had a job and was supposedly stable. Then he was actually homeless and had mental issues. If he had just been honest, maybe she would have considered and even tried to help him get established. There was definitely a connection during their first cup of coffee. But then he had to pretend that he had all this stuff going for him. Hard to build a relationship on a lie as big as that. Billy is ridiculous but that seems to be his purpose this season, to be there just to be this, as he put it, gigantic ass for people to scoff and sometimes laugh at. I can't help but feel bad for Georgia though. Speaking of which, where was she this episode? I just love Lucy Liu's sarcasm and wit. She has the best dialogue on the show. I can't get enough of her character and it's perfect for her. I can't believe I never watched this before, because I love Lucy Liu and I am just now discovering what I think is her best performance. Thanks for reacting to it and turning me onto a great show!
