Content

Currently Binge & Release has been, binge reacting to one season of something and then releasing the season two episodes a week without reading any comments because they're all pre-recorded before posting.

+ Positives

+ I am given infinite time to get these done.

+ No spoilers throughout the season.

+ If I'm really into a show, I'm able to react to the entire season in one day if I wanted to.

- Negatives

- You have to wait sometimes a very long time for the content. (Jessica Jones for example, I finished The Punisher in June last year and have yet to even start Jessica Jones season 2).

- No communication with you guys like the regular content. I don't read your comments week by week and some people really enjoy that.

- It can be stressful thinking about how I haven't gotten them done quick enough despite having the rule that they will come when they come.

- Some shows may not even be binge worthy and are better to watch week by week.

------------------

I am proposing the idea of changing binge and release to be more of a regular show idea.

It would be only one episode a week, but you'd be able to comment and have those read each week as the regular content is done as well.

You'd have it be more consistent as well.

I'd only be fitting it in when I can still but with it being one episode a week instead of two, it would be easier to do.

If you have another idea, please let me know.

Once a week is fine by me & with how many shows you do already I really can’t think of another way. & your right like I could binge a short S1 of an anime or the Boys S1 in a day or so, then some shows are best left for once a week cause it leaves you wanting more like I been rewatching some agents shield and that’s been fun once a week for me . Whatever is easiest for you to get things done with your scheduling

First off, I would like to give with whatever is easiest for you, whatever makes you happy 😊. Beyond that, I do really enjoy being part of the group, leaving comments, hearing you read comments, and recognizing others names when their comments come up. Sometimes with differing opinions, and sometimes they know exactly what you're talking about and how it made you feel. So yes, that is missing from the binge series, but that's kinda the point of binge and release. You watch alot and then release when you get time, whether that be 1 week at a time or 2. If you changed it to somehow include comments, it wouldn't be a binge and release show anymore. It would be just like all the rest. It's true some shows are better watched week to week and not banged, so don't binge those. If without spoilers people have said it's a good binge show, or it looks like it is from what you've read or seen about it, then binge it. I guess this was just the long way of saying I like the comments, but the binge episodes is not the place, and what show to binge and how many per week are entirely up to you, no matter what anyone else says. Thank you for being you. Hope you are feeling better, it's been quiet on that front for a little bit.

Whatever gets Jessica Jones out sooner. It's been a long tease on that. Admittedly you put out more content than the rest of my reactors combined. Which is impressive. I do like the reading of the comments though.

Personally I like the way you do it with the Arrowverse currently. Watching 2 or 3 episodes a week and then us being able to comment for the next batch of episodes.

I think one a week is the better idea, but I also think some shows just do better in binge and release. Maybe your rewatch shows (Smallville, Charmed, etc) could be binge and release?

Mike Simonton

Definitely your rewatch shows should be binge and release, but you could do thoughts videos after reading comments after patreon release.

I cant wait for more binge and release shows. It gives more shows a chance to catch your interest. Im praying you watch more psych. Its so so good.

JamStan

You should react to the new Puss in Boots movie. I would love to see what you think of it. I would honestly upgrade my subscription to the movie tier just to see you watch it.

John

Honestly I love you’re reactions and I would like to see you react to all karate kid movies and show cobra kai

I do think switching to a regular show one episode a week is better than the Binge& Release format. Yes, the output might be lower, but the show that gets that spot on the roster can be given the full treatment. Instead of getting reacted to for just one season after which it's unknown whether or any of the following seasons will be reacted to. After all, due to the poll system, it can be a different show every time. And I do think most people will prefer continuity instead of reactions to one season of (many) different shows. As for the Marvel Netflix Verse (not sure if that's the correct name) situation, you could solve that in a different way. It might take a bit longer before new reactions are released, but it would make it more consistent. After this season of the Arrowverse, only two shows remain (S&L and the last season of the Flash) (assuming no new shows will be announced and I doubt that will happen). In other words, the Arrowverse is getting smaller. This could technically open up a spot on Friday for a one-episode reaction to an MNV show. So for example on Friday you have 2 or 3 Arrowverse reactions and one MNV reaction. I do see the risk that it might possibly be confusing for some people. But you would be able to release MNV shows on a weekly basis instead of having to find time in your busy schedule to binge and release them.

I like the idea of upgrading the B&R shows to weekly live reactions, for a couple reasons. It gets you engaged with the audience more by reading the comments and it ensures more consistent releases, as opposed to waiting for however long for you to binge it, even if it's just one episode a week. The only drawback is, the comments sections can at times get overly long, especially when people post multiple comments and paragraphs, so a 40 minute video turns into an hour plus sometimes lol. But if it's one ep per week then it makes up for it in a way. But yes, I am totally looking forward to more of the Marvel Netflix shows, plus Ally McBeal.

Take your time filming but release all at once Netflix style. Then we can binge.

I voted for one a week, but my honest answer is whatever is easiest on you.
