I kinda do agree with you like most people don't understand that Bruce went through a lot like running away from the army for years Going into hiding from everyone Fighting Loki army, Ultron, freaking Thanos Being stuck as the hulk for two years and fighting in a arena against his will I might add Seeing the half of the world disappear before his eyes Losing his friends tony, natasha, Steve and Thor off in space somewhere So Jen has no right to said what she did like Bruce went through a lot of experiences and trauma before he merge with hulk

Yes. Bruce has been through a lot. In addition to the above. His first love (Betty Ross) father hunted him with the intent of caging and or killing him. He had to abandon Betty to protect her from not only his enemies but possibly himself. He does the same with Nat so that she will not end up married to a monster. At one time in his life he became so depressed over the Hulk issue he attempted suicide. In Avengers "I was at a low point in my life so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out". Jen had no right to say he doesn't know what its like to be harassed on a daily basis. A man that has been hunted for 15 years and called a monster by most of the planet. Who had to leave the planet to get away from it. She reaps the benefit of getting her powers from "Smart Hulk" that was wearing an inhibitor cuff to keep him human while he heals. Resulting her not only getting a Hulk that is a "Smart Hulk" but is naturally inhibited so she can control it.

I found the first episode very interesting and I liked it. I think both Bruce and Jennifer say things that shouldn't be said. She shouldn't judge what he has experienced and he shouldn't tell her how to live her life.

I think that movies and TV shows tend to exaggerate what guys typically do to women on the street. Like sure, someone might approach someone else but it's really not likely that a guy will be that persistent, not taking no for an answer, to the point where he is committing sexual assault. I'm not saying of course that it never happens or hasn't happened that way but the way you see it portrayed, it's like almost guaranteed to happen if you walk by a group of guys and it's just not realistic. Catcalling is a bit more common but it is kind of an outdated thing. You don't really see it happening these days very often, because of the whole me too movement. I think women generally feel that it's degrading and it's rare that someone will take it as a compliment. So you are a rare one for sure. But it can also be kind of creepy and if I was walking with my girl, or a female family member or close friend and someone was doing that to them, I would for sure tell them to f off. I don't think that Jen was trying to invalidate what Bruce went through or saying she was better than him in a serious way. She was just getting frustrated with him because she felt like he was keeping her there and she wanted to leave like yesterday. She said hurtful things but he is family and sometimes you can really lash out at family because you know they can take it and will still be there tomorrow. If she really disregarded him, she would have left him under the pile of rocks and not checked to make sure he was ok. I agree that when I first watched the pilot, I thought it was about average. But it did make me want to see the next episode. So hang in there and enjoy the ride.

I think I had a similar reaction to the first episode. There were a number of things in this episode I remember being like “hmm I hope that doesn’t continue”; however, There are a lot of things to like and it’s only the first episode

They both said things that they should not have said. Both right and wrong in some capacity. They are different people with different lives. His blood affected her differently down to a cellular level, he saw that and used her affected blood to speed up his recovery, so who's to say she wouldn't have a different experience changing back and forth, beyond just regulating anger differently. Bruce went about it the wrong way trying to invalidate her choices. I know he probably saw this as an opportunity to be understood but telling her she has to do what he does when he's seen evidence that they are not the same is not the right way to get her to listen. She should not have ignored his advice as he is experienced in the down sides of being a Hulk and he is not wrong with a lot of the lessons he gives, it is just his approach. She is correct that they are different people and she doesn't have to be a hero if she doesn't want but also didn't need to invalidate his advice. Both wrong, both right. I don't think it's fair to say she "reaps the benefits". I saw a great comment about their difference: Bruce controls his anger because if he doesn't he's scared he might hurt others, Jen controls her anger because if she doesn't she's scared others will hurt her. There's an expectation (especially for women) to control your emotions (especially anger) around people.

1. Ok she's talking to the camera... Didn't expect that ...Hopefully won't happen too often.. Don't get me wrong I love an occasional 4th wall break but only when someone says something stupid and the hero character glances at the camera for a moment and without saying gives off the look "You believe this shit?" ...added later... Ok the end bit was already a bit cringe 2. I dunno about the whole "Being happy being Hulk" ...It's been a long time ago but I kinda remember him not wanting to hulk out for some reason ...That might be Infinity War though ..Did anything Hulk worthy happen after that? ......They kinda took way too long to do anything Hulk related for me to remember 3. I suppose Jen is wearing VERY stretchy clothing that doesn't tear when she hulks out ...Seems like a plausible way to explain why she's not walking around in her bra or something ...Plus it's Disney.. No way they'd show that kinda stuff ...added later... Ok the suit as the end got kinda torn so I guess her clothing in the beginning was less tight fitting or whatever it's called 4. Froots.. I get that you as a girl feel uncomfortable and scared to be out alone at night since you've seen a lot of these types of scenarios play out in TV and movies... Perhaps even heard it from friends of yours.. Where guys prey on girls who are alone ...I know it probably doesn't do much good.. But don't fear.. Not all guys are like that ...I'm DEFINITELY. NOT. like that and I'm sure that if I saw some guys harrassing a girl I'd do what I can to stop it and I personally know others who would do the same ...No girl ..Nor guy for that matter.. Should be afraid to be out at night or ANY. time of day really 5. Hmmmm... I'm gonna give it the benefit of the doubt that the whole "Because I'm better than you" has anything to do with sex.. I'm thinking it's just a genetics thing where some people's bodies are just more able to overcome certain conditions than others ...It SOUNDS like a "Hollywood" thing ...But I'd like to think that's not what they were trying to go with here ..I think it was more of a science thing 6. True I was thinking that yeah... She-Hulk has long hair but Jen doesn't ...Kinda doesn't make sense that if she reverts back to Jen her hair becomes shorter again ....Also a missed opportunity for a joke ..What if Jen really wants the shorter hair look but every time she hulks out and reverts back she has to go to the hairdresser again ..I think that'd be funny for a one time gag 7. Eeeeehhhh... Technically the whole tossing the boulder further thing can be explained away as she doesn't know her own strength or cause she's been kind of a rebelious character so far so it's easy to assume she'd try to outdo Bruce ...I'll let it slide 8. True.. Bruce has been through his own fair share of troubles ..It's disrespectful of Jen to say she's had it so much worse... By saying this she's making his problems seem invalid and to do such a thing can be harmful ...I suppose it won't harm Bruce.. But in reality you shouldn't say this to someone ...Unless you just really don't give a shit about the person ..Then go ahead.. I'm not above being a dick to people I don't care about ..In fact I enjoy it but I'm getting off track I suppose 9. Catcalling is disrespectful and you can't change my mind about that ...It's not a proper way to address any woman (nor man)... Whistling to a girl on the street like "Ooooh hey giiiirl.. You're looking fiiine" ...Sure Froots you may think it's flattering cause you for some reason thought you weren't good looking ...But I'm absolutely sure of it that any guy who cat calls doesn't have the best of interest at heart ...I for one have never done it and I'm sorry but I think it's disgusting behaviour ....Froots.. If a guy cat calls you while you're out and about.. I hope you're with a friend or you head the other way and stay safe 10. As for the subject of giving someone validation... Am I guilty of this? No. I don't think it's wrong to give validation when it's to someone I truly care about... I listen.. I understand.. I feel.. And also when it comes to complimenting someone... When for instance if I tell someone they're beautiful then it comes from the heart.. I speak my mind.. I won't apologize for it.. I do not feel guilty of giving someone I care about validation therefore I am not guilty of it.. But maybe I am guilty of caring more than I'm supposed to and going out of my way to make sure that person I care for is happy and stays that way.. I don't expect anything by doing it.. It's not about that.. I'm not asking for anything either.. But I also will not try to do less.. I can't.. A person either gets all of me or none of me.. There is no middle ground 11. Then there's the mansplaining.. I'm apparently guilty of it.. I don't like being called out for it though.. More often than not I'm unaware I'm doing it since I'm either just trying to be helpful or in my own way making sure that what I'm saying is translated well.. Hence why my notes can often be long since I'm afraid a short answer won't convey what I'm truly trying to say in a foreign language .....This can lead to some confusing times when you're talking to someone who doesn't like to read and misses my point .......smirk 12. I can't say I'm as much offended by some of the things in this pilot as you are.. Which is weird since you and I normally share the same opinion 9 out of 10 times ...Perhaps it's me having not read any of the reviews that's keeping me a bit more open minded.. (I legit only know of one thing for this show) ...Or perhaps you as a girl just see things that I as a guy don't immediately see.. In which case I apologize if any of what I said was offensive and I'd ask you to be honest and tell me if I did offend you

Yes, this shows humor isn't for everyone lmao. I enjoyed the show, I do get annoyed when they start talking all political and talk about current things I just want a story without the extra but I've seen all the episodes and enjoyed it but I've also seen different reactions to this show mostly negative.

I didn’t know She Hulk broke the 4th wall till this show but I enjoy the show overall not everything marvel makes is gonna be good but I enjoyed what they did this episode & sucks that Hulk Bruce can’t have his own movie so then doing his development in other stuff I haven’t minded, Bruce being smart hulk I like since he’s had problems for years and only really learned in infinity war & Ragnarock really

I thought it was good too. Not as good as Ragnarok but still better than the first 2 Thor movies.

i couldn't watch the show after the first episode. It definitely wasn't made for anyone who actually read the comics. And since the show writers never read the source material I'm out. But from what i heard the show was never intended for me anyway. But I do hope that you enjoy the show.
