Here's why I don't have a problem with Ava being a clone but I do with Sara. We came to know the Ava clone as just Ava. She is the original as far as I'm concerned. Now with Sara, we're supposed to just accept the fact that the original one, that came from Arrow and was on the ship from season 1 is dead and there's this replacement for her. Not to mention, there was no emotion involved in her death. It was just oh hey, the original you is dead and you're a clone. None of her team, or Ava was around when it happened. I just feel like, as much as the show is aiming for comedy, they really should have taken a beat and paid proper respect to the original Sara. Then maybe I could accept this Clone as her. But no, so I'm just going to call her "not Sara."

The reason why each Ava clone is different to the other is because they were created that way, Bishop cloned himself to be the same every time. (Retracting some of what I said here because I am an idiot, and forgot things) To me she is still Sara but in a new body, she still has the same thoughts, she still loves Ava, she remembers everything that has happened in the past and she will continue to make the same choices in the future as she would have even if she hadn't died or been cloned. Now do I think Sara should have told Ava that she is a clone straight away, probably but also Sara was probably more caught up in the moment of seeing Ava again and I probably would have done the same.

I actually love the fourth wall breaks. I love the meta element on legends. I never understood when people say "it takes me out of it". Its just a fun nod for the audience. Theres a ton of different things that shows do that could take you out of it but its just fun. Legends separate itself from the arrowverse as much as possible. Thats why legends didnt do the Elseworlds crossover bc they want to separate this show from the arrowverse. Its just so different now that i wouldnt mind if they said it wasnt part of the arrowverse anymore. The wackiness is just so much better and more fun. Im glad it changed and i love the meta aspect they added. It makes it much more unique than most shows. It just feels like the writers are communicating to us and it feels like we have more of a relationship if that makes sense. The legends writers are very fun and love the fans, the meta jokes have been popular with fans as well.

They didnt make a big deal about it bc the clone is sara, they put all her memories and feelings into the new body. By a writing standpoint its the same sara just with some new powers.

But in this World, the arrowverse they have established that soul is a thing becasue John brought Sara's soul back in Arrow season 4.

^THIS. Our real world personal believes don't matter. In universe a soul is confirmed and the clone doesn't have it. So it is NOT Sara.

I also should acknowledge, yes I forgot about the whole John putting Sara's soul back after she died (thanks Andreas) that is my bad, but where does it also state that the cloning process doesn't also clone the soul. So I've done a retraction on my original comment.

The writers gave themselves an out about Sara. Nurse Ava said the "transition" could be difficult and Bishop said she had been "primed." This suggests a transfer more than a direct copy. Perhaps the Sara clone was an empty vessel until Bishop somehow uploaded and the downloaded everything that is her into the new body. In this scenario, its Sara, in a new body. She probably feels better than she has in years. As for a soul, since there was no duplication, there is still only one Sara Lance and one soul.

Honestly I didn't like Ava at first I found kinda of annoying but over the seasons started liking Ava especially this season I'm happy and sad because Ava doesn't know that this isn't her Sara but their engaged now so yay Mick made me cry like why do they need to remind me how much Mick cared about Sara that freaking speech got me

How to save OG Sara without fucking up the timeline: Requirements: 1. Waverider (It's a FUCKING. timeship that can travel through space and become invisible!!!) ---------- Use Waverider (while cloaked!) to go to planet where OG Sara got killed ..None of that uncloaking bullshit while arriving.. That mothertrucker better be invisible the entire fucking time.. We're on a covert rescue mission here people! No time for dicking around! (Well.. We do.. It's a timeship) Portal into bad guy cloning room, knock out said bad guy who cloned Sara, make sure his cloning machine isn't stuck on printing a new version of him cause g'damn he's kinda annoying.. Are Gary and him related? Make Sara clone using OG Sara's body Travel back to before OG Sara got killed Replace OG Sara with clone Sara Use memory wipe device from earlier seasons to wipe mind of bad guys Go back to present, if memory wipe was done correctly (so probably don't leave it up to the Legendary Screw-Ups) the bad guys have no clue they got the wrong Sara Kill bad guy and destroy his cloning machine Throw Gary out the airlock, find Mona and repeat process Celebrate victory and get the wedding started You're welcome Avalance..
