You're definitely not alone. The episode was weak for a myriad of reasons. The writing, the directing, Ceclie's actress trying unconvincingly to be evil, the characters knowing things that were never mentioned before, etc. I think most of season 7 so far represents a trend in the Arrowverse around that time. The writing overall is just not what it used to be. The quality of the shows has declined. Yep, we all heard the news about season 9 being the last. I think my perfect ending would be to have all of the OG Flash team reunite for the final episode. Maybe Barry is moving on from Central City and is becoming a full time member of the JLA. They say goodbye to team Flash, new and old. The last shot is them turning off the lights in Star Labs and they all leave.

Man I remember this episode with someone who deal with anxiety and depression is insulting Like this episode wasn't scary if you want to scared the viewers hire someone with experience If the writers wanted to give development to Chester make it interesting I mean I don't care about his character but at least give him something And lastly sue was in the right she shouldn't had apologize

2023-01-15 19:46:15 She still could. Flash and S&L dont premiere until sometime in 2023 and haven't started filming yet. Depending on the dates, she should be well into season 8 and starting the current season. Maybe she'll decide to do a binge week or something so she can catch up to live. It's been done before.

We haven't thought that far ahead yet, we're VERY surprised though that nobody has figured out the soon to come out show yet. We really figured people would have filled in the blanks by now. Perhaps I made the hints a bit too hard to find. (if you have found them though, don't spoil. I'm sure things will be revealed soon enough)

I'mma just post this here since you asked, but you should already know since we share a lot of the same opinions. How would I like the show to end? I've mentioned this in voice a couple times too. Not in as much detail though. It's something that happens in one of the comics that I think would be cool to see translated onto film. Knowing the Arrowverse though they always take a bit creative licence with their stories so it probably won't happen. You know I watch this with you so I have no idea if this is going to happen.. But here's my ending. Season 9 should focus on an ultimate big bad. Something that could potentially destroy the Arrowverse. Barry can stop it if he's fast enough but it's clear he might not survive. (Yeah I know, sounds like Crisis.. But I loved Crisis On Infinite Earths so whatevs.. Leave me alone) After some heartfelt moments with all the OG characters. (Anyone who left should come back for what in my mind should be a potentially extra long finale episode) He starts running, we cue to an epic montage of him remembering the things he's been through and all the people he's saved while he's running faster and faster.. He wishes he could do it all over again... A voice over of him being the fastest man alive speech plays.. It's new.. Words have changed to fit what's going on in this final moment. From the comics: "My name was Barry Allen and all that I ever wanted to be was the fastest man alive, A human thunderbolt" The environment around him begins to change.. He's running so fast he ascends into a new form of being.. ".....As a scientist I should've realised right from the start that electricity always travels in a circuit....." He's become fast enough to destroy the threat but in doing so he somehow gets thrown back to where it all began... "....And lightning can strike twice in the same place." We see the scene where it all began... Barry gets struck by lightning. Camera pans down again on an unconscious Barry.. The speedforce can be seen going through his skin. Cue to Flash outro lightning Extra scene, We see Team Flash is remembering Barry in the lounge room. The camera pivots away through the empty halls of S.T.A.R. Labs past memorable places like the way into the particle accelerator and Thawne's secret room and we end up in the control room. Nobody is watching the monitors but the satellites are picking up a speedforce signature. End credits. (What is the speedforce signature? Leave it up to imagination, it could be Barry, it could be a new speedster sent BY Barry.. Anything.. We're left with imagining that "The Flash" is still out there somehow)
