The arrowverse isnt as tightly connected as you think. Its set in the same universe but mostly for crossovers. Each show has different showrunners and writers, which is why its so inconsistent.

I dont mind sara being a clone, it was a very risky decision to kill the original sara off and not many shows do that kind of risk. But this really makes you think whether or not this sara is an exact copy of her and has a soul or not. This makes me wonder if maybe the real sara is in heaven while this sara is alive. When clone sara dies does she have a soul to go to heaven as well? will the two saras soul merge? Its just a facinating thing to think about. It probably wont ever be explained in the show but its cool to think of these details. Either way i thinkits a very balsy move that changes the show but also doesnt at the same time.

Okay Mick really caring about Sara is crazy because I'm currently rewatching the flash season 1 and seeing how much he cares is really amazing The scene wear Ava think Sara is actually dead was really sad I had to pause and collect myself because I see how much they care for each other it's beautiful Sara revealed as a clone was really surprising great job legends writers to keep surprising me with each episode

Brandon Wiesner

I really don't like that. Killing Sara offscreen and having this new one be her clone? The real Sara deserved better than that. The writers should have their heads examined for coming up with this one.

Paul Gregory

Well if you really think about it no one other than maybe the Paragons are the same people either....maybe skip to the bottom if too long....... They were all killed in Crisis and then kinda resurrected back, and even that is iffy because the entirety of the multiverse was reborn from the Big Bang onwards and those universes histories were changed completely. So are they not different people too? They were anhialited and remade and the only reason they're as close to their pre-Crisis selves as they are is because the Martian Manhunter gave them their old memories back. Just like this 'new' Sara has the original Sara's memories. Different than say Emiko...did they give her her old memories back, I would guess not. TL;DR isn't everyone except the Paragons a completely new body with the old memories anyway?

Paul Gregory

I mean, they are. They were all destroyed utterly and the universe was restarted from scratch and was changed and so every single person who was brought back lived entirely different lives and were completely different people and only think like the old characters now because of some Martian malarkey. Even the people dusted in the MCU were 'brought' back later on so you could all say they were dead but were returned to life. Nothing else was changed about them. Everyone apart from the Paragons are new bodies implanted with their original memories. And now the same has happened to Sara.

Chris Peacock

Well fine yes. But it's NOT the same thing. Oliver rebooted the universe so everyone else is the ORIGINAL of Earth Prime. They are real. Sara is not.

Luis Garcia

Yeah, the whole Crisis situation is at least somewhat similar. With Crisis, everyone died and the people from the new universe were given the memories from the people who died in crisis. In this situation, instead of giving the memories of the other life to a doppelganger, Bishop gave them to a new body. So basically, post-Crisis sort of merged two lives into one person, while Bishop moved the memories into a new body.

Based on your wording it seems you may be confusing clones with robots. Obviously the concept of cloning can vary but I would consider them real.. even more so if you're able to transfer the memories. Same DNA same memories.. what's the difference. I respect you feel otherwise however.
