I didn't know anything about BL, so I didn't watch the show when it aired. Now that I have watched with you and we are almost at the finale, I think the show was decent earlier on. The last season was really tough to get through. This season has been a little better but definitely not by much. You can tell that they are struggling to find a path to the end. I'm not a fan of the recasting of Jennifer. I agree about how they have handled things after Crisis. I'm hoping that these last few episodes are satisfying. We shall see.

This random board of people that Tobias was talking to came out of nowhere. With only 3 episodes left, it doesn't leave much room to work with. This reminds me of Ricardo Diaz with the Quadrant people, and that is not a good thing.

Jennifer was born October 2001. Season 1 of BL takes place towards the end of 2018, so she was either 16 or 17 when the show started. An early episode in season 2 says "3 months later", meaning this season started 3 months after season 1 ended. Khalil was "killed" in season 2 and the date on his gravestone (shown in season 3) says January 28, 2019. That lines up with the show starting towards the end of 2018 as entire seasons of this show happen in rather short periods of time. Most episodes in the early seasons pick up right from where the previous episode ended (often the next day). As for my feelings on this show. I am not a fan of the editing style this show has had since the start. Most episodes feel like a bunch of random stories being told separately and cut into the same episode. It never really felt cohesive. That part of it has gotten slightly better this season. To be honest though, if I wasn't watching along with you, and if I wasn't a completionist, I would have given up on this show long ago. Just like I did when it was airing. The nullifying emitter apparently nullified everyone's ability to use logic. Gambi's girlfriend trusting him even though all he told her was "trust me", Jen thinking that electrifying herself would give her her powers back, and the writers having it actually work. All of that was dumb.
