I am really excited about you starting this series. I been looking forward to it for a while. I do agree that this episode was a slow burner. When the action started it was awesome but it was over too quickly, I wish they could have dragged the basement scene out a little more to give a bit more action for the payoff on that slow start. But over all I still enjoyed it.

yes... you are correct in your hypothesis of why the bullet "seemed" to be delayed. The bullet took time to hit it's target because of the extreme range!

Yeah, he was shooting across the Mexican border. It's not going to be instantaneous, since he was so far away from the target.
