Once they got things right, Night Court was quite the show. Also of note, Jeff Corey, who played Santa, although blacklisted for political reasons in the 1950s emerged as one of the most influential acting teachers in Hollywood, with students that included James Dean, Jane Fonda, Robin Williams and Jack Nicholson among many others.

I think I watched this show more on reruns than anything else, but the mid to later seasons I watched as they aired. Definitely some dated jokes in here - you don't hear many Leave It To Beaver references these days! Nice to see Michael J Fox in his very early days. I think he was doing Family Ties at the same time he was in this episode, and this was just a year before Back to the Future.
