This episode is AWESOME. I mean, it's fantastic all the way through, but the way it just seamlessly shifts gear from a fun episode into this intense serious awesomeness when Lt. Mauser talks to Chuck is just brilliant. The way Ned just shifts tone completely too from this goofy character to this confident bad-guy is great. Also, keep in mind that Chuck will only flash on Fulcrum agents who have been recruited through CIA. Ned was obviously not in the CIA or they would have had records, so it's likely they've done some recruitment from other branches to stay hidden better. The characters in this show are tremendously written. The fact that Cptn. Awesome respects Chuck so much pleases me greatly. He listens to him and stops with trying to take Ned out until Chuck actually tells him he should, and then just "Right on, bro!". There's also the sweet moments between Chuck and Sarah. I mean, it's heartwarming and their chemistry is awesome. It's difficult not to love scenes with those two. Sarah then doing the ultimate move of all for Chuck by killing Mauser. Chuck's too pure for this world, because Sarah had no choice here. It makes perfect sense for both characters to do exactly what they did here. I'm glad Chuck struggles with it, because anything else would not make sense. Morgan as well stepping up and fullfilling his role in the plan to take out Ned to perfection! :) Anyway, great reaction! This is the best episode so far of Chuck. To me anyway! :)

And this episode is an homage to Die Hard. Big Mike's cousin in this episode was the cop in Die Hard who helped John McClane. :)
