Have you been watching the extended episodes? I know this season has extended cuts with a couple more minutes each episode

As far as I was aware the only episode that got extended was the pilot episode. I have provided her with the Bluray version of the show for the rest of it.

If you used the Blu-ray version then it’s all good. I know they used to air the episode live and the next day they upload the extended episode on the CWTV website and the Blu-ray has the extended episodes. It’s not much just a couple scenes. I was just wondering.

I'm so glad you are enjoying the show so far and also felt the Smallville when I saw this episode and it's funny that Clark is acting weak after all these years and I like he doing the persona and I also like the scene him acting like goof I mean that's who he is at heart

Most American high schools have 2 or 3 teams in each of football, baseball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, lacrosse, softball, wrestling, tennis, volleyball, and depending on where you live in the country, hockey. There is usually a Junior Varsity and a Varsity team. Larger schools will also have a Freshman team.

These have been the extended version. It's really only an extra line or two in 4 or 5 scenes. Watching the normal version doesn't really take away anything from the episodes.

In the pilot you asked if Lana in the comics married Pete Ross. They were married in the early 2000s, and had a son named Clark Ross. Lana also adopted the new version Kara Zor-El that was introduced around then as her niece, Linda Lang. Lana and Peter ended up divorcing. In the New 52 onward, Lana has been engaged to John Henry Irons aka Steel. She also had her own solo series called Superwoman in 2016. It was so good. PS, I don’t really like this version of Lana, she lacks none of the fiery warmth comics Lana has. Smallville had a similar problem. Stop taking away her fire. This show’s husband for Lana, Kyle Cushing, is an original character for the show and so are their kids.

It would be funny if John’s natural athleticism was actually underdeveloped superpowers. Like, what if he only has super strength and super speed, and they slowly develop over time. He could be 25 being like ‘Yep. All that training paid off. I can now run a mile in two and a half minutes and lift 300lbs, and it’s all due to my hard work over the years’.

I think while Tom Welling does a great Superman, Tyler Hoechlin does a great Clark Kent because he can play clumsy dad pretty well

More football! 1. The coach said for Jordan to try out for Cornerback yet that’s not the position he was shown to be playing 2. That looks like the Hamburger drill (where Jordan & Sarah’s Ex just run at each other). Most schools don’t do the Hamburger drill anymore as all it does is get kids hurt for no reason.
