Now we know for sure Alice is a psychopath - she eats baguettes the wrong way

I can see why they went with the new wig for her. She's a black woman and they want to showcase that. Not just for the character but for the audience. Representation is important in TV, so they're not going to put an African American in the lead role and just have her hide most of the time behind the batsuit. But I agree, it doesn't work with the suit aesthetically. Other than that though, I do like the new character so far.

I mean the new wig is telling she African American besides that I like it It's was cool to see Ryan backstory and to see it's to connect to the present time was cool

I was glad the kidnapping story only lasted this one episode. I actually enjoyed the story, but if it continued it would have felt like a repeat. The False Face Society society seems to be one of the main villains of the season. It may be convenient that the stories overlapped in this episode. There is probably a good reason for that though.

About the search party for Beth, I do agree the reason people were looking for Beth wasn't just because she was white. She had a family to look for her, and on top of that, her father was the head of the Crows and probably rich. Beth's family had a whole lot of resources to look for her. If anything, you could make an argument that people are more likely to look for rich people. This didn't have to do with race/ethnicity.

Evan Blake/Wolf Spider in the comics is a straight up villain and a really poorly written one at that, I prefer his portrayal here
