1. When Cage put the glue on railing for jury, he was referencing how we used to kill horses to make glue until the mid-1900’s. 2. There are real radio show host exactly like the one portrayed here. The most famous one is Howard Stern. His “shock” radio show has been on the air since the early 1980’s and yes he still does it. 3. Spinner is a sexually derogative term used to describe a small framed woman. 4. A commonly eaten companion animal is rabbit. I don’t eat it but I know MANY people that do. My Great Grandmother would raise rabbits for food. In some cultures it is common to eat dogs and cats as well.

Lucy Liu! I loooove her! Since you have finished S2, you know by now that she wasn't just a guest star in one ep. Since I am a paralegal, I can help out a bit with the legalese going on in the cases. In the sexual harassment case, they dismissed him directly harassing Ling but they still considered holding him accountable for saying what he said, because it could be perceived as wrong by a jury. Rather than go to trial, Nell decided to dismiss it and "imply" that he had performance issues. With the horse case, Cage got the jury to see that whether or not they thought it was right to eat horse meat, it wasn't the restaurant owner's fault for providing the meat. They were just catering to a specific market. The glue was to demonstrate that even if they revere horses as noble creatures, they used to kill horses to manufacture glue. So his client won but he didn't like how Cage was obviously sympathetic toward horses and was going through the motions defending him. Pat already explained the other pertinent stuff. Yes, that was the Master, Mark Metcalf playing the other lawyer. The shock jock was played by Wayne Newton, which is pretty hilarious because he is a famous singer. His real life personality is nothing like that role, so he's got some acting chops too!
