Gothel's rage makes sense but that it carried on for thousands of years does not but disney villains are not known for having healthy coping strategies for trauma. It wasnt explicitly shown but i think with her mother gone gothel's power grew enough that from that one spot she overtook the earth with plants and poison

Okay so here me out... I have a very sneaky suspicion that Henry & Jacindas true love kiss isn't powerful enough to break the curse. Henry & Cinderella 2.0 bish may have had love and affection for each other but the spark & chemstry that forms true love like Snow & Charming isn't there. Snow & Charming's true love was strong enough to endure literally anything & plus no sapling was spawned resembling Henry & Cinderella 2.0 bishes true love.... True loves kiss is strong enough to break any curse because it's the strongest magic of all... Apparently true loves kiss doesn't just involve around romantic relationships but strong connections in general through blood lines or strong compassion for each other. Henry was able to break Zelenas curse by kissing Regina on the forehead & Henry also woken Emma from her being unconcious after battling Gideon so i'm quite convinced that Regina & Henrys natural mother & son bond will have an important factor with breaking the curse, however, i am a bit decisive.... They'll just repeat S3 situation & have the same outcome... I'm taking a swing and assuming that Alice & Robin share true love potential and i'm guessing they'll be the canditates to break the slumber spell of hpyerion heights. A new couple that's also had multiple episodes of backstory & gradual relationship progress that bloomed & blossomed into a beautiful lesbian love story. Alice is literally the heart of Season 7 & Robin has ambitions of continuing her fathers legacy of being a heroic figure so it all works well together hand in hand! I was so distraught saying goodbye to Zelena. I didn't prepare myself because i generally thought the producers would allow the actress to maintain her role till the series finale. She's my favorite character primairly because she was one of the best villians, had the second best redemption storyline but also took way longer for her to redeem herself unlike Regina who only took 3 seasons she took like 4... Possibly 5 depending on whether or not you're lienient with the character or not. I still am failing to understand why the writers couldn't have just had Zelena adopt a child similar to Regina but actually have Tiera Skovbye protray an ordinary girl born in New York City or whatever. I'll support Zelena in saying her parenting skills & mother nature is amazing, she truly loves her daughter since the moment she was born but looking through Season 7 it really opens up the bigger picture of why the writers had to do such a jucy inappropriate sudden twist with Zelena being pregnant with her sisters boyfriend unwillingly like- Beyond the point, i'm glad Rebecca Mader returned, truly did spice up the season & was nice having all redemmed main character villains have their own spin off together, fingers crossed we get to witness the wedding or something. ALSO THAT MAN ZELENA STOLE EYE SITE FROM THE CANDY CRUSH LADY TO GIVE TO HIM WAS SO NASTY & UNGRATEFUL TO LITERALLY NO REASON I WAS FUMING! Ummmm.... Gurl i'm sorry but wtf was this episode. I'll admit, i did some sympathy & empathy towards past Gothel exploring how she became a villian. I was expecting the show to venture into her backstory in a more deeper level but they decided to do it SO LATE! I'm very confused & muddled over the fact how it legit feels like the writers paid these random side walking girls one day that were walking their doggies to play nasty ball room girls for NO APPARENT REASON. "You are an abombination" no this plot twist was an abomination and the dress she was wearing... Gothel was entertaining and the acting was flawless but felt like a teen soap for thirteen girls. Them taking digs at Gothel & ruining her magic realm had no relevance at all... It was unbelieveably random it killed me. Their was no purpose of them being cruel to her AT ALL... LEAST REGINA, RUMPLE, ZELENA, HOOK, CORA, MAELFIENCET, CRUELLA, URSULA, PAN.... Majority of the villians had a "proper"... No wait... UNDERSTANDABLE reason on how the darkness crept into them & why they became villians. Gothel clearly holds resentment & a massive grudge against humans which is totally understandable with her situation of the nasty vindictive bishes murdering her family but it just felt so out of place. Of course i recognize how bullying can bring out the worse parts in a victim. There was legit no reasoning of them destroying Gothels homeland & bullying her apart from just being random bishes & these random women being hired to just be irrelevant.... Tilly is such a realistic, kind hearted & honestly very mature character... She makes such human instinct decisions which i admire & appreciate so much related to her character. Standing up to her values against Gothel disallowing her to sugar coat her abandoning Alice & also Tilly potentially sacrificng herself in honor of paying back Rodgers sweet and generous contributions! REGINA WHERE YOU AT DOE HUNNY MISSING IN ACTION, YOU'RE THE STAR OF THE SHOW SWEETIE :( Lucy finding her mothers glass slipper in a Granny scuffet bag legit makes no sense, it was such a cracker seeing the granny merchandise shirt for once again NO REASON. Stroybrooke to all the Hyperion Heights cursed character is non existent to them, they all believe that it's just a random magical town created by Henry related to he's book he wrote so why didn't Jacinda have more of a shocked or surprised reaction considering Storybrooke technically doesn't exist to them LOL. Just felt so unncessary & out of the ordinary like a Snow White version of Snow finding the storybook in her closet but least it made somewhat sense. Season 7 keeps doing repeats on situations that have happened before, it lacks providing us with fresh new content besides from Alice & Robin being an lesbian couple pretty much.

One thing I like about this episode is that it basically says that our world used to be a fairytale/enchanted forest world before Gothel destroyed it and created "A Land Without Magic". Right after that, she mentions "scrap of magic left behind". The reason I like this is because it sort of explains how magic was previously able to work at all in a supposed "Land Without Magic" in previous seasons.
