All the clones in the Clone Wars were copies of Jango Fett. They were modified to make them more compliant with orders from the Republic Senate. They were also rapid aged to be adult soldiers much quicker. Jango's fee for allowing this was he wanted one unmodified clone for himself to raise as a son. That clone was Boba Fett. During Star Wars Episode 2 he had to watch Jedi Master Mace Wydu (Samuel Jackson) kill his father Jango by cutting his head off in battle.

What I love about this episode is when Boba Fett says "I was aiming for the other one." This was not false modesty but if you look carefully: he literally was aiming for the other ship. It's an understated moment I really appreciate in this otherwise action-packed episode.
