This episode isn't a favorite of a lot of people, but I like the insight it gives us into the minds of both Clarke and Bellamy. The hallucinations were just showing us the internal battles they have been having this entire time. It was an interesting way to show it. I also agree that things have moved really fast for Lincoln and Octavia's feelings. That's kind of par for the course for this season. The fact that this entire season takes place in the span of just 29 days (at this point they have been on the ground for 15 days) screws everything up. Octavia has only had 2 "love interests". Jasper was never a love interest. He had a crush on her. She never really showed any true feelings for him other than friendship. The kiss was mostly a thank you for being brave and protecting her.

I think for Octavia, the only personal contact she had before being sent down to the planet was being stuck in small living quarters with only her family to interact with, then being sent to prison. Going by what we saw with Clark in the first episode those prisons are a very lonely existence so having someone like Lincoln who saved her and healed her it would be very easy for her to form a strong bond with him.

Oh definitely. Her being attracted to anyone who shows her compassion makes complete sense. I never once questioned why she fell so quickly for Atom and Lincoln.
