I am bad at explaining thoughts at the end of episodes.

Therefore this here is for you guys to ask me questions specifically about the Crisis event and I'll make a video before next weeks Arrowverse answering them.

I will also read the comments from the Crisis event in this video.

Ask away!

Please no spoilers for the future, there's no reason to be speaking about anything other than Crisis!

This is probably an obvious question but I'm gonna ask it anyway, are you upset or disappointed that Laurel was left out of this entire adventure?

Are you going to react to stargirl

Mark Chrisco

Two things intrigued me about CRISIS. There was really no reason to kill Bruce Wayne. It would have been more effective if he was trapped in his malfunctioning suit as Kate walked away. The other interesting thing is Sara Lance emerged as the undisputed leader of the heroes.

Stargirl 1x01 is coming to Patreon in about 4 weeks, You can check the schedule on our website for an outlook on the next 8 weeks at: https://www.aftershowreactions.com/schedule

What are your thoughts on Oliver's ending in the crossover? I personally felt like they didn't do him justice considering he was the original hero of this universe/ arrowverse. Also, how does this crossover rank for you compared to the others?

When I first watched this crossover, I really wasn't a big fan of it. I didn't actually find any of it good. (That may have been because of Infinity War & Endgame, which I understand there different and that's okay. I have nothing against this Crisis because of it.) This time watching it, I think I enjoyed it a lot more than I originally did. But nevertheless I am going to complain. Sorry. I just think there were too many unneeded subplots like: Finding the Superman's baby in the year 2046; Bat of the future; Flash on the treadmill; Pariah; and more. (Sorry if you enjoyed them.) And I really hated how they handled Oliver. They kill him off-screen and by stupid one-hit acolytes in the first part. Brought him back in the second part. Found his soul in the third part. Became the Spectre and saved the multiverse in the fourth part. I just think it was really rushed and not really thought about. I feel like they should have spent the Arrow episodes working their way up to Oliver becoming the Spectre, and then not kill him until the final part. I wasn't a big fan of the Paragons. I understand why they are needed but in the second part they where trying to find them. Then in the end two of them weren't even important (Bat from the future & Superman). And then in part 3, there just like 'You're a paragon and you're a paragon and you're a paragon.' I feel like they should have perhaps found the paragons working their way up to the crisis. The next thing is a little nit-pick. I understand that they can't have every actor in every episode, but I wish they gave a reasoning to it. I mean Sara literally said the Legends aren't coming, because she promised them they didn't have to do another crossover. THE ENTIRE MULTIVERSE IS BEING WIPED OUT, WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT YOUR PROMISES. Sorry for the yelling. My last problem is the Anti-Moniter. I just didn't care for him. I don't find him threatening at all. We hardly see him at all, and he was easily defeated. And they completely made him a joke in the final part, which just makes the previous four parts more of a joke. But I think the main thing I really don't like, is that the doorway to the Anti-Moniter's prison was in a sewer. In a highly populated city, on a highly populated world. Which literally anyone can find. After all it is only a simple password to open the door. I mean so many deaths could have easily been avoided. (And I understood correctly the Monitor literally teleported the 90's Flash into the Anti-Monitor's prison. Which is why he destroyed Earth-2.) I'm just saying everything could have been avoided so easily. I just feel sorry for Nash Wells, none of it was his fault and I hate that everyone blames him. It was the Monitor's fault. And I just found the battles just to be really cheesy and stupid. I know I am complaining a lot, and people are probably going to be like be happy with what we have. But I'm sorry I stand by what I say. I just feel like they put more time into fan service than any actually story. No offence to those who enjoyed it. But if you enjoyed it, good for you.

I think they killed Bruce to really display the difference in worlds. This was a completely different Batman than Kate knew. Plus as heroes, they need to make evildoers accountable for their actions. Although it wasn't their intention to kill him, it was fitting that he died IMO, because a Batman like that shouldn't exist. Although, it didn't really matter because that world was destroyed anyway.

I mostly agree with you. I think it's carried by some crazy cameos that had my jaw to the floor but overall It's not even close to good. I could say the cameos came first and then they tried to throw a story around them

TheMew

I enjoyed the crossover and the cameos. Could some of the story been better sure but overall still good. One thing I do think could have helped would have been instead of just having the black smoke monsters I think it would have been better to have had the Anti-Monitor teleport in some Villains from the past of each of the heroes. Also maybe even some Villains that haven't shown up before but we would recognize and maybe some from other worlds or past shows and films since they did that with the heroes and side characters. Then the Heroes could have fought actual people and it would have been fun to see those fights plus maybe have some more of the side team heroes fighting the smoke monster while the main heroes fight the Villains. Also how much cooler would Oliver's death have been if everyone else got transported away the black smoke monsters come at him he puffs them away and then all the Villains are shown as the smoke clears and Oliver just fights them all until he can't anymore. That would have been way better. I guess the couldn't because of budget or something. But even having one Villain and Oliver dying from them and not the smoke monsters would have been better. Reverse Flash should have been there too. I know they didn't want to be locked down by the original article but I think it would have been better and they could have dropped some of the other scenes that weren't needed in favor of the Villain cameos. It would have been cool to have the battle in the street with Hawgirl etc like the article said instead of the treadmill. Also a dream wish that would have never happened for me would have been Tom Welling still having Powers and suiting up for real as Superman and having all three of them fighting side by side with the suits on(maybe even adding in Dean Cain as Supes too.). I really wish Tom wasn't so against wearing the suit. Also having Micheal Rosenbaum show up would have been cool. At least I hear Tom and Micheal are working on a Smallville cartoon. Though I do wonder if it's going to be post s10 or post crisis and whether or not the s11etc comics will be canon.

What were some of your favorite character team ups we had during crossover. Ones we don’t really see that often or ever, but the characters really had great convos and chemistry with one another. Mines Jefferson and Barry or Sarah and Barry.

Andreas Froby

Oliver became the Spectre. The creator of the multiverse. Thought about that?

Wyatt

Few quick things: 1. Rosenbaum was asked to be in the crossover but he turned them down. He gave an explanation somewhere, I think on his podcast. Basically he said the studio was very cagey about what his scenes would be before he signed a contract 2. When Oliver died in the first episode, you were confused and didn’t believe it. When it first aired 90% of the fans were PISSED. Most because he died in Supergirl and not Arrow. I was upset too. After a while I came around on it though. 3. I really appreciate all what they were able to do. They managed to hit a lot of the major points from the comic while changing it enough so that is was unexpected. They had a ton of cameos and had a lot of good moments. There was a quote from someone who worked on it saying “We had to make Endgame with Endgame’s catering budget” and I think they did a good job for what they had to work with. So my questions for you are What was your favorite cameo excluding the obvious one? Kevin? Ezra? Routh’s Superman? Or Tom Ellis? Where would you rate this crossover with all the others? Did you catch the Super Friends reference at the end with Gleek? What do you think of the Justice League Lineup? Is there anyone else you would want to see on it beside Laurel #Laurelgotrobbed #BlackCanary4JusticeLeague

Are you going to react to superman and lois

Luis Garcia

What are your top 3 favorite cameos? Which cameos did you find the most surprising? Who do you wish would have made a cameo in the crossover, but didn't? If there was one thing you could add to the crossover, what would it be? If there was one thing you could remove from the crossover, what would it be? Do you have any predictions for what will happen in the last 2 episodes of Arrow? Do you think the crossover had enough Laurel in it?

Tony

Unscheduled breaks not factored into this calculation, she'll be starting Superman & Lois on the 8th of April 2022, it's part of Year 9 of her Arrowverse Watch Order
