Loved your reactions of this series so far. I hope season 2 gets voted up. I like it a lot. It deals with what could be quite gross subject matter, but it does a great job of getting up to the line and just stops short of crossing it. Like in the battle in Meat Cute. They pan the camera away for the gruesome bits. I know there are gore lovers out there who would hate that, but I'm not a big gore fan, so it worked for me. Even the brains, they usually only briefly show them before they are disguised in everyday food. I really love the humor, but considering some of these punny guys are the same ones that made Veronica Mars, I'm not surprised. I really only had one issue with this season, and I actually only realized it while watching your reactions. Lieutenant Suzuki had a fairly easy way out of his situation that they didn't really explore. He has known that Liv was a zombie for a while. He could have easily gone to her and gotten brains from her. No doubt her and Ravi would have been plenty happy to get a high up police official on their side. This would have freed him up from being held hostage to Blaine. Maybe i missed something, but I don't remember them having Blaine closing that loophole. I could see if they had a scene where Blaine threatened to turn Suzuki's wife and possible kids into zombies or eat their brains or something. In any event, it would have totally ruined most of the exciting stuff to do that, so I just choose to believe that happened even if it wasn't on screen. Anyways great reaction again. I'm really glad you are liking the show despite it being a zombie show. I figured in the beginning that you would, but I wasn't absolutely sure. I would have hated it if you really didn't like it and were stuck watching it.

I really loved your reactions to season 1, hope we get to see season 2 soon, it really expands on all the stuff that made the first one so good. How does the voting work, when the show has already had a season? I know it definitely skips the next poll, but iirc that poll was the one where The 100 won (also a great show btw.) - do we now have to wait for the rng to put iZombie in another poll or do you intend on giving shows that already had a season reacted to additional slots on the poll?

It will be part of the list again now that The 100 has won, but it is all randomly generated yeah so it's anyone's guess if and when it will return.

By this point in the season, I had already fallen in love with the show, with Liv, with Ravi, and, yes, with Blaine as a bad guy...but that shoot-em-up in the Meat Cute made me fall in love with Major. So fucking bad-ass.

Hope it wins a poll in the future. Your reactions to the whole season were great! Only have one question for anyone who wants to answer: if you were a Zombie on the show what are the top two brains that Liv ate in S1 you'd want to eat? I'd go with: Artie the painter from episode 2, and Liv's college friend Holly who was a thrill seeker from episode 5 :)

Martial Arts brain episode 4, and Sniper brain never learnt Martial Arts but would have liked to, and honestly my dream job would be a hired assassin (travel the world make lots of money) so sniper brain.
