Really ? I've feel like we're so many lmao Although, please don't think my hatred for Ross is universal. I've met many R&J shippers who like Ross. I thought her and Ross were really cute in the first couple of seasons and then he got worse in my opinion. And I just couldn't be on board with the ship when he secretly taped her naked and then took advantage of her when she was drunk. Rachel and Joey were really cute, he was so adorable and respectful of her and her feelings and I think they could've been really something special if they had been given the chance.

I've never understood people who consider Ross misogynistic yet praise Joey. I mean I love both Ross and Joey and think they get criticised too much but between the two of them Joey has a way worse attitude towards women.

Feel free not to read all of it but you kind of asked and some of their answers are better. Also, I never praised Joey for his attitude towards women. I was talking about Rachel and his attitude towards her. Although, considering everything Ross has done, I do believe Ross is the worse one. He's just more subtle and casual about it, I think it's more disturbing because he's written as The Nice Guy and the laugh tracks (have you seen the video of him without it ?). Joey is written as The Ladies Man, the "what you see is what you get", his attitude towards women is a trope that is often written with these characters. People shipped Joey and Rachel? I felt that was icky all along and couldnt get on board with it. Ross wasn't misogynistic at all. He was terribly insecure, jealous and petty, but I never got any misogyny vibes from him. His insecurity stemmed from being dumped by his first wife, who was cheating on him with another woman. Not saying that excuses his actions but it does somewhat explain them. His attitude with the whole Mark thing was ridiculous. Of course it turned out Mark DID actually have feelings for Rachel all along and Ross was right, but he should have trusted that Rachel wouldn't act on it....insecure and jealous, not misogynistic.
