I wouldn’t say that Clancy Brown (Colonel Schoonover) is typecast, but I do agree that he plays a lot of bad guys. General Eiling, Lex Luthor in in the 90s animated Superman series, and last but not least Mr. Krabs

Remember that episode in the first season where Stick was first introduced? He recruited Matt to help him destroy a weapon called The Black Sky. That weapon turned out to be a child. The one that was in chains in that shipping container. Stick killed him offscreen. That kid was another candidate for The Black Sky. The best that I can think to explain it is that, to The Hand, The Black Sky is their prophesied leader, their ultimate weapon. The Hand is, as others in the show have mentioned, like a cult. This is also why Elektra is so violent. It's because it's all ingrained in her, it's instinctual. She's like an animal, or, if you prefer, a vampire.
